Income Based Housing
In addition to our market rate apartment homes, here at Launch, a portion of our residences have been reserved for Mixed-Income apartments. This program is designed to reduce the barrier to affordable quality housing for the working force community in Alameda, CA. If an applicant’s annual income does not exceed 50% or 80% AMI (area median income), they are eligible to apply for these rent adjusted residences.

What Do I Need to Pre-Qualify?
We will be accepting applications on a first complete, first serve basis (however we are waiting for the City to confirm they will allow this). Their key housing staff is out this week, but we should have confirmation sometime next week. I have attached the unit availability, which includes bedroom counts and rent amounts that is being proposed to the City here. Tenants must have a minimum income of 2.5x rent and at least one household member per bedroom. Tenants must not currently own any residential property.
