Income Based Housing

In addition to our market rate apartment homes, here at Launch, a portion of our residences have been reserved for Mixed-Income apartments as part of the City of Alameda’s Below Market Rate (BMR) Housing Program. This program is designed to reduce the barrier to affordable quality housing for the working force community in Alameda, CA. If an applicant’s annual income does not exceed 50%, 80% or 120% AMI(area median income), they are eligible to apply for these rent adjusted residences.

Tenants must have a minimum income of 2.5x rent and at least one household member per bedroom. Tenants must not currently own any residential property. Income limits are listed below by household size:

We are now accepting applications for available Moderate-income (120% AMI) apartment homes on a first complete, first serve basis. The waitlist is currently closed for the 50% and 80% AMI units.
